Our recent 5 day trip to 🌉 San Francisco was a blast! We brought 8 startup teams (@aetherAI, dipp, @MAI, HackMD, SkyREC, 航見科技, @TwoIoT, Velodash) to join us for our awesome #TaiwanRocks Pavilion at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco. 🙏Thanks to everyone who stopped by our Pavilion!

We arrived in SF a day before the conference to hold a Founders Meetup and have our Taiwan startups network and learn ✏️ from the founding stories of some local Bay Area founders. First, we stopped by the Pared office to hear more about how Dave Lu built a 2-sided marketplace and some of the challenges he faced. Next, we had Y Combinator alumnus Ray Wu (Founder of MagicBus) and Ted Benson (Founder of Cloudstitch) share about their accelerator experience and the importance of good 📖 story-telling.

Next, we showcased our bright yellow 🤟 #TaiwanRocks Pavilion for 3 days at the TCD conference. Many people stopped by to learn more about our startups and how much #TaiwanRocks and to say hi to Todd our infamous cat 😻 mascot.

To end the 3 day conference, we held our own #TaiwanRocksSF Demo Day (special thanks to our new partner Covo for hosting us). Our 8 startups had the opportunity to pitch on stage and share with the world how they're disrupting different industries!
