Anyways, let’s cont on how to help u sleep better for better recovery & elak penyakit but this time tips evolve around “Light” 💡
Nana rasa one of reason why it’s hard for me to 😴 is due to light. I sejenis penakut so mmg I tido lampu terang benderang 😅
💡 OPTIMISING LIGHT & DARK EXPOSURE💡
1️⃣ SLEEP IN DARKNESS. Our brain can sense light through eyelids so tutup segala lampu yg ada dlm bilik - omg takutnya 😅 Langsir jgn lupa tutup jugak, but make sure cahaya nur waktu pagi still can kiss your face.
Recent research found that when people were exposed to dawn light during the 30 minutes before waking, they reported having slept better and did better on both an exercise and a cognitive test than a control group that slept in complete darkness for the duration of the night.
So cari lah langsir yang tak gelap sangat ok.
2️⃣ Avoid Blue Light At night. Reminder to myself to switch off or put away phones, laptop & other electronic devises 1 hour before bed time because they decrease production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. Another way is to decrease the brightness and dim your electronic screen. I think among all, this is the hardest to do, setuju tak?
That’s all for part 3. Simple but I think it’s quite hard to do especially No2.
Another thing that we should all practise is to place any electronic devices far2 away from us during sleep. It can cause radiation and potentially give you brain cancer. So Kalau boleh jangan charge phone near your bed of placed it on the side bed table. Letak phone and other electronic device jauh2 sikit ok.
Kalau reason takut tak dengar alarm, Sila lah beli alarm clock ⏰ ancient tech sometimes is better for our health.
Part 4 coming soon. And it will be about how food can help u sleep better. Should I take carbs at night and if so, what type of carbs should u take.
