to judge tentatively or approximately the value, worth, or significance of
forecast :
to calculate or predict (some future event or condition) usually as a result
of study and analysis of available pertinent data; especially : to predict
(weather conditions) on the basis of correlated meteorological observations
project :
to plan, figure, or estimate for the future
這樣看來的話
estimate和project意思差不多都是指預估
而forecast則是指在有一定根據的情況下作的推測

or value of something). 恰當地推測(物品的數量,程度,規模,狀況或價值)
forecast 預測 預報
To estimate or calculate in advance, (especially to predict weather
conditions by analysis of meteorological data). 提前預料或估計(尤其
指通過對氣象數據的分析來預測天氣狀況)
project 預計
To calculate, estimate, or predict (something in the future), based
on present data or trends. 基於當前的資料或趨勢(對未來某事)的計算,估
計或預測
predict 預測 預知 預告 預言
To state, tell about, or make known in advance, especially on the basis
of special knowledge. 預先陳述,告訴或公佈,尤指以特殊知識為基礎
我的感覺是
estimate是用於估計數值或量
(ex)我"估計"得花多少時間...這幅畫"估計"大概多少錢...
forecast&predict是用在預測某件事或某種狀況
(ex)政府"預測"...經濟學家"預測"...
project是用於預計某個狀況
(ex)公司"預計"新產品的銷售....
